The Box Audio PC is a 2x1 audio switcher that fits in a single 5.25" front slot of a computer (typically the bay reserved for the CD/DVD drive). It pairs a professional PC with the balanced XLR world of studio audio: front-panel XLR-3 connectors for balanced left and right inputs/outputs, a 3 mm jack for line input, and a push-button to toggle between A and B channels with LED indication.

Each switch position uses two identical relay circuits for clean, transparent switching. Unselected inputs terminate into a 600 Ω resistor, with crosstalk around 90 dB and bandwidth (−3 dB) 100 kHz. Power is supplied via a standard disk-style connector on the back, alongside a 9-pin D-female that links the unit to a dedicated audio card.
