AVA-C/O - AUTOMATIC AUDIO AND VIDEO CHANGEOVER

When the main video signal drops, the AVA-C/O changeover switches automatically to the audio/video emergency feed — and switches back the moment the main signal returns.

You use it as an automatic main/stand-by switchover during live transmission, or to swap between a tape identification feed and the live journalistic feed when the VTR is connected to the main input and then disconnected.

An evolution of the AVA-C/O is the EL2900, which adds an internal timer so the changeover can be scheduled to switch ON/OFF up to eight times a day. An internal battery keeps the clock and the programme running even with mains power off.

EL2900

An advanced version of the automatic changeover called EL2900 is available; it has the same functions as the AVA-C/O model. In addition, an internal timer allows switching the incoming signals at specific times of the day with up to 8 ON and 8 OFF events (16 schedules in total).

EL2900 is a stand‑alone module equipped with its own internal power supply and can therefore operate autonomously.

An internal battery keeps the clock running and preserves schedules even without mains power.
