The AT8 lets journalists follow a studio program in progress and recognise exactly when to come in on air. When a reporter station is shared between multiple transmissions or TV channels — for example during political elections — AT8 lets the journalist choose which programme to listen to and join at the right moment.
A front-panel button records a short voice message that explains to the phone callers which transmissions are currently live, so they always know when to ring in.
