BLUETOOTH BOX REPORTER

The Bluetooth beltpack is a wearable unit for journalists who need to send high-quality audio contributions via a Bluetooth link straight to their mobile phone. It ships with a microphone, a headset and a mini-USB charger — the same mini-USB port is used to update the internal firmware.

The unit has an XLR microphone input and 2 headphone outputs (one for the journalist, one for the interviewee). Three trimmers set the levels: TX LEV (input mic), RX LEV (journalist’s headphone), LEV2 RX (interviewee’s headphone). Battery life is around 5 hours per charge.
