Hfx6 - Professional Communication Equipment

The HFx6 is a hands-free full-duplex intercom system designed for television programme production, ENG, OB vans and TV studios. It is built from 6 EL4400/HF2 terminals interconnected through an ADDERx6 summing unit.

The EL4400/HF2 terminal is hands-free, full-duplex, with built-in amplifier and loudspeaker for high-quality audio playback. Low noise floor thanks to balanced circuitry. A noise-gating circuit automatically raises the transmit threshold in continuously noisy environments, preventing accidental transmission — yet it remains responsive in normal conditions. Despite the 1 RU 19" chassis, the loudspeaker delivers high-fidelity reproduction. 4-wire balanced connections between terminals; the link to the ADDERx6 is a pair of cables with XLR-3 connectors. The standard version has a built-in microphone; a 4-pin XLR headset connector is available on request.
