Gimx6 - Professional Video Equipment

The GIMx6 (1 RU 19" frame) lets you identify the source signal on every monitor without any printed label or under-monitor display. The first line of text shows "ON AIR" while the picture is live, the second line carries source information such as "CAMERA 1" and the cameraman’s name.

If the incoming video is missing, the GIMx6 keeps the text visible on a coloured background it generates itself. The moment the video signal returns, the text is automatically overlaid back on the picture — so the identity of the source is always visible, no matter what.

Each of the 6 channels has 3 outputs for control-room, audio and camera-control monitors, so the GIMx6 also doubles as a video distribution amplifier. Available in PAL or NTSC.
