UPDOWNCONVERTERX9 - Professional Equipment

The UPDOWN Converter x 9 packs 9 converters into a 1 RU 19" chassis (420 mm deep, 7.6 kg): each one runs in UP mode (SD SDI → HD SDI) or DOWN mode (HD SDI → SD SDI + CVBS composite PAL/NTSC). The input signal is loop-reclocked.

Typical uses: connecting an analogue-input monitoring point to a new HD system (DOWN mode). Each of the 9 converters can be configured as up or down via internal switches (in UP mode the composite video output is excluded because not HD). Mix and match the configuration on order — e.g. 4 up-converters and 5 down-converters, or any count from 4 to 9 to fit your rack.
