The VD1x8 SDI is a stand-alone, equalised, reclocking 1x8 distribution amplifier for SD and HD serial digital video. It automatically equalises losses on 75 Ω coaxial cable (hundreds of metres, depending on the cable and the video standard) and reclocks the output to deliver eight low-jitter serial digital outputs.
