Vit261 - Professional Video Equipment

The VIT 261 removes ground-loop hum and ground-voltage differences from a video signal. If your source (e.g. a mixer) and your load (e.g. a monitor) are grounded through different AC circuits, voltage differences between the two grounds can show up as hum bars on the picture — and the long parallel runs of coax next to AC power cables only make the electromagnetic pickup worse.

The VIT 261 is designed for standard 75 Ω composite or component video signals and is the right fix wherever two pieces of equipment on different grounds have to be connected.
