The DUAL TBP ENGINEERING is a 4-camera intercom for broadcast: a 10 W stereo amplifier drives the external loudspeaker for the STEREO-PGM IN signal. Engineering can talk and listen to all four cameras simultaneously or independently, and to four channels reserved to the fixed replacement — e.g. the director, the producer, the audio operator and a guest.

Two LCD displays show channel status (in programming mode) and the controls and functions activated from another intercom pressing the SPEECH key. The PRODUCER can talk and listen to all cameras through a lever control. Microprocessor-controlled with transformer-coupled 4-wire circuits, and return modulation selectable between program output, TV output and external signal.

The DUAL TBP TECHNICIAN is a companion unit that amplifies the ENGINEERING intercom’s functions: it sits between the engineering intercom and the users (cameras or other parties), adding its own microphone signal to the engineering microphone going to the cameras/users, and mixing the return signal from cameras/users into its own loudspeaker. The two intercoms connect with pin-to-pin DB9 cables, and the TECHNICIAN provides two microphone inputs (HEADSET stable button) with power for condenser microphones, plus MIC (XLR-3) input with mute. All inputs and outputs are galvanically isolated through quality transformers.
